1. Your agreement with us
Mamo is a family organization service operated by 686 STUDIO L.L.C., a Washington, United States limited liability company ("we," "us"). These terms describe use of Mamo's accounts, family spaces, cloud features and paid plans. Our Privacy Policy, available from the sign-in screen and Settings → Privacy Policy, explains how we process personal information.

For the App Store app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the software license unless a separate applicable custom license is supplied. These service terms supplement that license and do not override Apple's applicable purchase terms or mandatory consumer protections.
2. Age and accounts
You must be at least 16 and meet any higher applicable local age requirement to create or use a Mamo account. If you are not of legal age to enter this agreement where you live, use requires any permission or authorization required by law. Family creation, administration and purchasing must be undertaken by a person legally able and authorized to do so.
Adult-managed profiles can represent children who do not have accounts. A profile does not authorize an underage person to sign in or independently submit content, including through an adult's account or shared device.
Provide accurate information needed for the service, keep credentials secure, and contact us if your account is compromised. Apple sign-in and any other supported authentication method are also subject to the provider's terms. Do not share credentials to bypass family membership or access rules.
3. Family spaces and permissions
A Mamo account and a family membership are separate. The current service supports one family membership at a time. The family owner administers membership and permissions, can transfer ownership to an eligible member, and can delete the family. Owners may authorize specific management actions for members. A person controlling a family is not automatically the legal guardian of every member.
Members can see and act on content according to current role, audience and item-access settings. Private items are restricted to their creator account, but remain part of the family workspace for purposes such as family deletion. Do not upload someone else's personal information or images unless you have the necessary authority.
Family connections and event invitations disclose only the information described in the sharing flow and Privacy Policy. Public links can be forwarded. Ending access does not recall screenshots, downloaded files, previously delivered notifications or calendar copies.
4. Paid family access and free invitations
During the current TestFlight beta, organizer access may be provided without a purchase. Any complimentary grant or test purchase is distinct from a charged App Store purchase. Temporary beta access does not automatically renew into a paid subscription; a purchase requires Apple’s checkout.
A paid plan covers one Mamo family at a time. Eligible members of that family use its covered features without buying an individual plan. Mamo's in-app family sharing is separate from Apple's Family Sharing purchase feature.
Receiving a shared event invitation remains available without purchasing a family plan. A free account does not, by itself, include a full organizer workspace. Development access, trials or promotional access may differ from the normal paid configuration; the applicable offer will explain its terms.
The available plans are monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime unlock. The App Store purchase screen shows the price, currency, billing period, taxes where applicable, and any eligible introductory offer. Published example prices are not a substitute for the actual checkout price.
5. Subscriptions, trials and cancellation
Apple processes subscription payments. Unless cancelled through Apple, a subscription renews under the terms shown at checkout. An eligible free trial converts to the disclosed paid subscription unless cancelled in accordance with Apple's cancellation rules. Trial eligibility and duration are determined by the offer shown to you; not everyone is eligible for the same offer.
Manage or cancel renewal through your Apple subscription settings. Cancellation normally preserves access until the end of the applicable paid or trial period as determined by Apple. If Apple provides a billing grace period, access follows the verified status of that period.
Deleting Mamo, signing out, leaving a family, deleting an account or deleting a family does not cancel an Apple subscription. Purchasing or restoring lifetime access also does not cancel an existing subscription. Review Apple subscription settings to avoid an unwanted renewal.
Refunds are handled through Apple's applicable process and any rights provided by law. Contact us if you need help identifying a purchase. Nothing here imposes a blanket no-refund rule or removes mandatory withdrawal, refund or other consumer rights.
6. One-time lifetime unlock and restoration
The lifetime option is a non-consumable purchase providing permanent access to the covered Mamo family features without recurring subscription charges. It is not a repeat-purchase product for the same Apple Account and product identifier.
A purchase remains tied to its original Mamo purchaser and one covered family at a time. The original purchaser can restore it to a replacement family only after the previously covered family has been deleted. This rule applies to lifetime purchases and eligible subscriptions. Logging out, leaving a family or transferring ownership does not move the purchase to another live family. Signing into a different Mamo account does not automatically transfer ownership of the purchase.
If multiple purchases are available, Restore purchases prefers eligible lifetime access, otherwise an eligible active subscription. It does not cancel other purchases or subscription renewal. Restoring access does not restore deleted family content.
Apple may revoke access after a refund or other valid revocation. We may restrict service for the reasons described below, subject to applicable law. A lifetime purchase does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, but it is not converted into a recurring fee merely because you restore it or create an eligible replacement family. These terms do not authorize us to erase paid rights through an arbitrary policy change.
If we plan to discontinue the service, we will give affected users reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to retrieve their content where practicable. We will address prepaid and lifetime commitments in accordance with applicable consumer law, including any required remedies. This provision does not reduce statutory rights or turn a permanent unlock into a recurring subscription.
7. Storage and feature availability
Each covered family includes 5 GB of shared attachment storage. Individual upload size, format and count limits can also apply. At the limit, additional uploads may be blocked until space is freed; reaching the storage cap alone does not authorize deletion of existing content. Extra storage purchases are not currently offered.
On-device AI and speech features depend on compatible devices, operating-system versions, downloaded models and supported languages. Manual features remain available where an optional AI feature is unavailable. Generated drafts and summaries can be inaccurate; review information before saving or relying on it.
Sync, notifications and connected services depend on network access, device permissions, system behavior and third-party availability. Mamo is not an emergency response service, a substitute for supervising a child, or a guarantee that a reminder will be delivered or an activity completed. Keep independent copies of essential documents and arrangements.
8. When paid coverage ends
When paid coverage is required and a family's coverage expires without an applicable grace period or other valid purchase, saved content remains available through the supported read-only, deletion and export/download functions. Creation, editing and completion actions may be restricted, and organizer reminders may stop. Expiry does not itself mean the data has been deleted.
Renewing or restoring valid coverage can restore paid features. We do not currently schedule family-content deletion solely because paid coverage has ended. This is not a promise of indefinite free storage. Any future inactive-family retention policy will be communicated before it is applied, with an opportunity to retrieve content where required by law. Deletion requests and lawful safety or security actions are handled separately.
Templates you save are private unless you explicitly share a link or submit them to Explore. Only share content you created or have permission to distribute; remove other people's private information and any material you cannot authorize others to reuse. Sharing or publishing a template allows Mamo to display that reviewed version and recipients to save and adapt an independent copy for their personal household use. You retain ownership of your original content. Withdrawing a link or listing does not recall copies already saved. Explore submissions require review, and we may reject or remove unsafe, misleading, infringing or inappropriate content. Report a template from its menu or contact mamofamilyshare@gmail.com. This initial template catalog is free; paid template sales and creator payouts are not offered.
9. Your content and acceptable use
You keep the rights you have in your content. You give us the limited permission necessary to host, process, copy, transmit and display it to provide the service and carry out your sharing instructions. This is not permission to sell your content or use it for advertising. Processing of personal information remains governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Do not use Mamo to violate others' rights, exploit or abuse children, harass people, distribute unlawful content or malware, impersonate others, gain unauthorized access, bypass payment or access restrictions, or disrupt the service. Do not treat a connected-family relationship as permission to collect or publish information beyond what its members intentionally share.
Community hosts choose to make the listed event details discoverable by other eligible users; anyone with a shared public-event link may view the public details without an account. Publish only content, cover photos and venue information you are authorized to share, and keep it appropriate for families. Accepting an invitation or joining an event confirms an intended headcount and adds a linked event to Mamo’s calendar. It does not issue a ticket, reserve a place or guarantee attendance. Adults may update or cancel their family’s shared response. Saving an event for later does not confirm attendance. Hosts remain responsible for their event arrangements. You can report an event or hide its host from the event menu, or contact mamofamilyshare@gmail.com about safety concerns.
10. Suspension, deletion and service changes
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a material violation, fraud, security risk or legal requirement. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact us. Urgent safety or security action may occur without advance notice. Contact mamofamilyshare@gmail.com to dispute an access decision.
You can request account deletion in the app. A family owner must first transfer ownership or delete the family. Account deletion removes the account and its authored content, including authored shared items; family deletion removes the whole workspace. These actions can affect other members and do not cancel Apple billing or restore deleted content when a purchase is later restored. Limited records may be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy.
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes affecting an existing paid commitment require appropriate notice, consent or remedies where law requires them. Updated terms will have a new effective date and will not retrospectively remove mandatory consumer rights.
11. Responsibility and consumer rights
We will provide the service with the care required by applicable law. To the extent legally permitted, we do not promise error-free, uninterrupted service or that generated information is accurate. We are not responsible for another member's independently chosen sharing or actions merely because they use Mamo, but this does not remove our responsibility for our own legal obligations.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, statutory guarantees, or rights relating to defective or misdescribed digital services.
12. Governing law and contact
Washington law governs to the extent permitted, without depriving you of mandatory protections or access to courts and regulators available under the laws of your place of residence. This is not an agreement that every dispute must be brought exclusively in Washington.
